The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as the primary interface between multiple business partners and technology teams to deliver complex, high profile technical solutions that align with business initiatives. The Senior BSA plays key roles across many disciplines within the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, design, and testing. The Senior BSA is responsible for aligning project delivery with technology and business strategies.
Job Duties:
Elicit requirements from Financial business functions using a variety of methods/tools
Plan, design, and recommend business processes to improve and support IT and business functions
Provide task and work direction guidance and technical assistance to assigned IT staff.
Communicate limitations or challenges with existing or proposed requirements/processes.
Identifies, develops, and delivers testing & training needed for implementation
Understands the process flow and how process changes impact other departments and processes; able to determine changes or resolutions when coming across issues
Build and maintain long-term working relationships with all areas/levels of the Ashley organization

Job Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Business or related field or combination of equivalent education and experience
Experience:
3 years' experience in a technology environment,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Financial business processes and Accounting
Experience with VSTS
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
Experience with process management
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Process mapping skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, technical and subject matter experts
Excellent interpersonal skills
Meeting facilitation
Effective time management and organizational skills
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Maintain confidentiality
